Megan is a senior in the Bay Area who has a passion for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and robotics. She has research and internship experience in the field of Machine Learning and data science. She is the lead engineer for her VEX Robotics high school team, and the tech lead for XR Edu. She is also the President of her school’s CSF (California Scholarship Federation) and Girls in AI club. Being passionate about women in STEM advocacy she was inspired to start Tech Girls United to help close the gender gap in tech/CS by providing opportunities for girls internationally. She has spoken and mentored at events such as Girlvasion, Girls Who Code summit, etc.

Working with Tech Girls United has given me the opportunity to provide chances for other women to grow their interest in computer science! Kyleen Liao is currently a sophomore at Saratoga High School who is passionate about programming and teaching. She has 3 years of Java and robotics experience. She enjoys competitive programming and participates in USACO. Last year, Kyleen was the Vice President of her VEX middle school robotics team and the Team Captain of her sub-team. Kyleen is also interested in music, writing, and reading.

My name is Morgan Nguyen, I am a senior in high school from SoCal. My goal is to attend UCLA next year while majoring in Political Science and minoring in History/English. I am working towards a certificate of accomplishment in Cybersecurity Fundamentals and then, hopefully, in Cybersecurity and Computer Networking. I prefer to keep my options open which is why I have a foot in both the STEM and Liberal Arts field.
