Megan Jacob

Founder/ Executive Director

Megan is a senior in the Bay Area who has a passion for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and robotics. She has research and internship experience in the field of Machine Learning and data science. She is the lead engineer for her VEX Robotics high school team, and the tech lead for XR Edu. She is also the President of her school’s CSF (California Scholarship Federation) and Girls in AI club. Being passionate about women in STEM advocacy she was inspired to start Tech Girls United to help close the gender gap in tech/CS by providing opportunities for girls internationally. She has spoken and mentored at events such as Girlvasion, Girls Who Code summit, etc.

Rachel Gunawan

I’m Rachel, a senior living in the Seattle area. I have a passion for coding and spreading my love for it with other people. Working with Tech Girls United has given me the opportunity to provide chances for other women to grow their interest in computer science! In my spare time I love to play the piano and spend time with family.

Aishwarya Ramesh

Marketing Lead

A junior in high school, Aishwarya has a strong passion for computer science and technology and loves exploring app and web development. She also loves graphic design, and is part of the Marketing team, striving to engage and promote Tech Girls United on our social media platforms! Besides being interested in tech, Aishwarya loves to play the piano and enjoys swimming.

Sophia Jacob

Hello! I am Sophia, an advocate for Women in STEM! I have interests in Math, Coding, and Art. In the future I aspire to be a Doctor, specifically a pediatrician, or a Computer Engineer or Software Engineer, since I am interested in the field of health as well as the tech field!

Kyleen Liao

Kyleen Liao is currently a sophomore at Saratoga High School who is passionate about programming and teaching. She has 3 years of Java and robotics experience. She enjoys competitive programming and participates in USACO. Last year, Kyleen was the Vice President of her VEX middle school robotics team and the Team Captain of her sub-team. Kyleen is also interested in music, writing, and reading.

I’m Kimberly and I love graphic design which is why I’m a part of the marketing team! I’m a college freshman and live in Virginia. I want to encourage more girls to pursue computer science related fields!

I’m Yara, a grade 11 pre-AP student at Martingrove CI in Toronto, Ontario. I enjoy reading, hiking, biking, and I look forward to going camping every summer. I also have an online business called SweetnSourCharms on Etsy and I love designing things.

Srinidhi Venkatesh

Srinidhi Venkatesh is a senior in a STEM Academy program from New Jersey. She is passionate about both computer science and engineering in general. She loves to teach about various topics and share her experiences and expertise within these fields. She is a firm advocate of WiSTEM and hopes to uplift other girls to get involved with STEM. In her free time she likes to read, dance, play the violin, and code.

Morgan Nguyen

My name is Morgan Nguyen, I am a senior in high school from SoCal. My goal is to attend UCLA next year while majoring in Political Science and minoring in History/English. I am working towards a certificate of accomplishment in Cybersecurity Fundamentals and then, hopefully, in Cybersecurity and Computer Networking. I prefer to keep my options open which is why I have a foot in both the STEM and Liberal Arts field.
